It was great seeing all of our students and staff members dressing up as their favorite characters! Tomorrow is Career Day, we look forward to seeing all the careers our students plan to pursue in the future!

Yesterday, our 8th graders were invited to participate in the annual Panola Preview Day, and they represented our school well! They participated in multiple hands-on activities as they explored the different types of careers and their courses that Panola College offers! (They even spotted a few GHS alumni while touring the campus!)

Our latest Habit Hero is Serenity Bishop! Serenity was thinking win-win by helping her classroom create a photo backdrop that was used for the Elementary Open House!

If your student was absent for our Fall Picture day, or you would like them to retake the photo, we will have Retake pictures on Wednesday, Nov 12th!

It was a great day seeing all the students and staff members in camo to start off our Red Ribbon and Fall Festival week! We can't wait to see everyone as their favorite tv/cartoon character tomorrow!

Last week, KGAS invited Mrs. Coligan and McKenzie Coleman to stop by and talk about our Fall Festival! Check out the following link for the recorded video; https://www.facebook.com/KGASRADIO/videos/1337393727851585/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v
Connally and Colston Cranford competed in State Fair of Texas during fall break.
Both boys placed in the top 10 with their lambs. Connally also placed 3rd and Colston placed 4th. Colston also placed 5th in the Junior showmanship division.
The boys also recently competed at the Heart of Texas Livestock Show with Layne and Layton Thomas and Madelyn Tinkle.
Connally placed 2nd with his finewool.
Colston placed 4th with his cross.
Layne placed 4th with his medium wool.
So proud of all our Gary ISD kids and the hard work and dedication it takes to raise an animal.

Our latest Habit Heroes are Kasen, Lane and Benton! Kasen was proactive and helped clean a messy area so others wouldn't get hurt. Lane was thinking win-win by finding solutions to help clean an area with an older student, and Benton has consistently put first things first by completing his classwork before playing and has been the classroom leader in assignments for the last two weeks!
