Tomorrow is our epic Fall Festival! The action begins in the cafeteria at 5PM for our Queen's Contest, followed by the Costume Contest that is open to the public! Everything else starts at 6PM, with Bingo in the cafeteria and the games in the HS Gym. This year, weather permitting, we will have some outside fun including our 'Jail & Bail' and Silent Disco, and of course our epic haunted trail! Check out the map for location details, we hope to see everyone there!

Some of our students have been investigating pumpkins this week! They've learned about the life cycle, and today inspected pumpkins for different physical characteristics, along with making our own sprouts!
Our 8th grade class may be small, but they are mighty! This year’s haunted trail, the Haunted Circus starts tomorrow at 7PM! Come show out and see all the creepy and spooky things they have for you! The forecast says it may rain Saturday so be sure to come see us Thursday and Friday and support the Class of 2030! The trail opens at 7PM and pickup will be over by the Ag Building!
It was great seeing so many students show off what they plan to be when they grow up! Some were very inventive! We can't wait to see what everyone has in store for Tacky Prom day tomorrow! Remember, students still need to be in dress code!
One of our biggest events, the annual costume contest, is almost upon us! Everyone is invited to come see our students decked out in their inventive looks on Friday, October 24th at 8:30AM!! Parents and visitors are required to sit on the guest side of the high school gym, and can check out their students after the contest concludes!
Due to preparations for the Fall Festival, our high school volleyball girls will play at Timpson on Friday at 4PM!

It was great seeing all of our students and staff members dressing up as their favorite characters! Tomorrow is Career Day, we look forward to seeing all the careers our students plan to pursue in the future!
Yesterday, our 8th graders were invited to participate in the annual Panola Preview Day, and they represented our school well! They participated in multiple hands-on activities as they explored the different types of careers and their courses that Panola College offers! (They even spotted a few GHS alumni while touring the campus!)
Our latest Habit Hero is Serenity Bishop! Serenity was thinking win-win by helping her classroom create a photo backdrop that was used for the Elementary Open House!

Both boys placed in the top 10 with their lambs. Connally also placed 3rd and Colston placed 4th. Colston also placed 5th in the Junior showmanship division.
