The GHS Spanish 2 class traveled to the Michelson Museum of Art to see their Day of the Dead exhibit. The trip included cultural experiences including seeing a traditional Day of the Dead altar, viewing art in the museum, creating art representing day of the dead symbols and eating Mexican food!

The Gary FFA Leadership Development Teams, trained by Ms. Shadix traveled to the Winona Invitational Contest on Monday, 10/30 to compete against over *40* other schools from across the state in preparation for their District Contest being held on 11/7.

It really is amazing seeing all of the students and staff from the entire district come together for this fun! Pink gave it a good run with over 105 staff members and students dressed out in their Pink best, but Blue blew everyone out of the water with almost 150 staff members and students dressed out! Thank you to everyone that participated in our Color War!
Unfortunately, due to the weather, the Haunted Trail will not open until tomorrow night.
It was wonderful seeing everyone decked out in their princess best and pirate worst! Tomorrow is the color war between the following colors; Blue, White, Green, Purple or Pink! The color with the majority wins the war! Also, we ask that students at secondary do not wear hats tomorrow with their outfits.
Of course, we can't forget about our secondary crew and royalty!
