Tuesday's home Varsity Volleyball game has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. Our Teacher Appreciation Night game will now be held this Friday. The event begins at 4PM at the high school gym, come cheer our girls on as they celebrate their teachers and take on Kennard!

Our hearts are with Beckville students and families during this difficult time. We offer our thoughts and prayers for the families, students, and staff affected. May they find strength, comfort, and peace in the days ahead.
The Principles of Agriculture class has been learning about the FFA Creed. Today students got to have a ❄️snowball fight❄️ with puzzle pieces of the Creed. After, teams had to find their respective color paper and gather up all of their puzzle pieces. It was a race against the clock to put the pieces back in the correct order to recreate the 1st and 2nd paragraph. This was a great way for students to work together and study for their Creed test tomorrow!

Parents, please check out an important letter from the Elementary office! Please be aware that the cafeteria does not open until 7:15AM for students to enter, and the high school commons area does not open until 7:20AM.
Gary FFA is proud to share that our chapter is thriving and preparing for another successful year. We look forward to supporting our students as they pursue animal projects, agricultural mechanics projects, and other hands-on learning opportunities. In addition, we remain dedicated to guiding students through CDE and LDE competitions that strengthen their leadership and career skills. We are proud to announce this year that our students may enroll in dual-credit courses through our partnership with Panola College to earn welding certifications. Together, we are building a strong future for our FFA members and our community!

Our next Gary 4H meeting will be on August 18th at 6PM in the GISD Cafeteria! Gary 4H is open to all students in grades 3rd-12th!
Tomorrow is the big day! Our Secondary campus will host the Registration and Schedule Pickup Event from 9AM to 5PM, where you can finalize your student's registration and they can pickup their Chromebooks, IDs, and schedules. Over at the Elementary, they will host their Meet the Teacher event from 5PM to 6:30PM, where students can meet their teachers and drop off their school supplies. We can't wait to see everyone!
