This week Mrs. Cranford and Mrs. Maddie hosted Junior High Speed Dating with a Book! The way this works is students have a set amount of time to see if they can find a match with a particular book . At the end of the time, they can decide if they want to take their book “on a date” (checkout and take home) by using a rating system. Our Junior High students enjoyed this Valentine themed reading activity!

Gary High School Culinary Students prepared a delicious Valentine Meal for the staff to purchase today. The meal included Mediterranean Pasta with Grilled Chicken, Italian Salad, Garlic Bread, and Triple Chocolate Cheesecake Pie with a Chocolate Covered Strawberry! The pasta dish and cheesecake recipes were executed by our students in a Hire Me To Cook Video Challenge Project. This meal sold out in record time!!!
