Yesterday, our Varsity Boys Cross Country team competed at the McLeod Invitational Meet and earned 2nd place as a team!
Individually, Thomas Philley earned 1st place, Tyler Ritter earned 2nd place, and Noah Sonnier earned 7th place!

Culinary Arts is going well, and they are enjoying their activities such as their treat-dirt cups!

Our GISD Cafeteria staff will begin to offer new a la carte options of snacks and treats in the line that students may purchase in addition to their regular school meal.
The following items will be available to purchase:
Cookie - $0.50
Chips - $0.75
Rice Krispy Treat - $0.25
Ice Cream - $0.75

These items are optional and must be purchased separately. If your child would like to enjoy any of these selections, please ensure that sufficient funds are available in their cafeteria account to cover their purchases.

7th grade parents, we will have a parent/student meeting on Thursday, September 17th at 6PM in the high school Media Center. We will discuss the Fall Festival Morning Sales, raffle, and Junior High dance. We look forward to seeing everyone!

Mrs. Solomon's Chemistry class have been learning about gas laws and putting that information to use to crush cans in the lab!

Tomorrow's Volleyball games at Henderson will start with Varsity playing first at 4:30 followed by the JV team. Fans attending the game will need to purchase tickets online. 8th Grade Parents, we will have a parent meeting on Tuesday, September 8th at 6PM in the Media Center where we will discuss the Haunted Trail, Fall Festival morning sales and raffle as well as other upcoming events!

This Saturday at the Gary Black Box, Meredith Crawford will be performing with Mason Powell opening! Desserts and drinks will be provided for all who attend. Tickets are $20 per adult and $10 per student and all proceeds goes towards our HS Production group! The concert starts at 6PM and we hope to see everyone there!
