🎅MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM GARY FFA🎅
Gary FFA celebrated the season with a pot-luck style meal and ornament exchange yesterday during our monthly FFA Meeting.
We would like to wish all of our members and their families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Little Dribblers registration has been extended to this Friday, December 15th. We need help with volunteers who would like to coach teams, and need more girls to fill out all of our teams!

On Friday, the 6th graders participated in an egg drop experiment to see which student could build a harness that can help an egg survive a drop from a large distance! Some were successful, and some weren't, but they all had fun trying out their ideas!

To continue with our Christmas celebration, the Elementary created their own little movie theater where students got to enjoy some hot chocolate and treats while watching The Polar Express! This will be going on all week so all Elementary students will get to participate!

On Wednesday, December 13th, the Elementary will be hosting our Pictures with Santa, open to all grades! Pictures start at $7 and siblings can have their pictures taken together for $3 per sibling. Forms have been sent home, but if you'd like another they will be available at the front office.

To celebrate winter cheer all season long, the Elementary teachers have decorated their hallways! Huge thanks to all of our teachers and staff for setting this up, and congratulations to all the winners!

The Literati Book Fair starts Monday! Come check it out throughout the week Monday-Thursday!

A “Greenhand” is a first year member of the FFA. The first year in FFA and taking Ag Classes is extremely important as students learn the values of hard work, the history and benefits of the FFA and so much more! They begin their FFA journey learning premier leadership, personal growth and career success- no matter what career they plan to pursue after graduation.
This year seven Gary FFA members went through a rigorous application process to be selected to attend the Area 6 FFA Greenhand camp in Lindale. Only 400 applicants were selected out of over 10,000 FFA Members!
This camp is a day full of leadership training, team building, FFA knowledge, etiquette training, and several sessions on how to be great citizens! FFA is MORE than just showing animals!! We are preparing our future doctors, lawyers, teachers, etc. for their success after graduation!
Attendees Included:
Caden Young
Bradley Cope
Brannan Stevens
Brodey Seals
Makynze Adams
McKenzie Coleman
Kinsley Myron
