DISTRICT MISSION STATEMENT

All children in the Gary Independent School District will learn social, academic and technological skills necessary to succeed in a changing and global society. Each child will develop a positive self-concept in an orderly and safe learning environment. Quality, equity and accountability will characterize all components of our school system.
